It’s no secret that Austinites spend a lot of time in traffic - we’re 4th nationally for time spent in traffic, behind traffic disasters like Houston and New York City. Even with billions of dollars worth of investment and decades of construction, we’re no closer to fixing our traffic snarl. It’s time for a city-wide conversation about how behavior changes and a pivot towards 21st century transit options can save Austin’s commuters.
